Sweet Birds

I didn't feel like studying for the GRE anymore so I took a birdwatching break and scoped out the backyard from my window. Spotted a flock of about 15 Cedar Waxwings on the neighbor's tree! That's a first for me. Northern Flicker was also in the neighborhood, along with Lesser Goldfinches, Juncos, White Crown sparrows.

Hi! Outside our kitchen window we feed small birds. Some days ago we hade 18 degrees Celsius below zero. The birds have to eat a lot and all the time when it's cold. Mostly we don't have any rare birds, mostly Blue tit and Great tit./ Ingela in Sweden /

Ah, we have bush tits as well here, but they don't come to the feeders. They just look for insects. Stay warm Ingela!
